St Joseph’s have recently taken part in the Eco Schools competition, organised by Thanet District Council. Out of hundreds of designs Olivia in Year 5 was one out of two winning entries and received a gift card and certificate. Well done Olivia, great work!!
Children were asked to create a new superhero to help promote Streetscene Services, to highlight the importance of looking after the environment and keep Thanet clean and tidy.
The character had to:
Be colourful
Be in a cartoon style
Help us stop people from dropping litter and fly-tipping
The winning design will be used in Thanet Streetscene campaigns to help stop people dropping litter or fly-tipping.
