Year 3 had a rather chilly but very enjoyable and thoroughly worthwhile trip to Stone Bay beach this week as part of their Science topic of Rocks and Soils. Amongst the many sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks we found, we found some fossils, a crab, a star fish and some wet children. A great morning was had by all and this was highlighted in the quality of work displayed in the afternoon session. Thanks to all who gave up their time to help. Year 3 are right…..Science does ‘Rock’.
