Baby Marnie made a special guest appearance resplendent in pink this week at St. Joseph’s when she visited the Reception class with her Mum, Laura, who gamely answered questions on her behalf as part of Reception’s ongoing topid of ‘Ourselves’.
After much adoration from children and staff alike, Marnie behaved immaculately whilst her Mum settled down to a question and answer session from the children who asked a range of questions such as what do babies eat, what is a muslin for, why do babies often have a chewing ring and why do babies sleep a lot (although Laura may disagree that they do!)
Laura answered all the questions with gusto and embraced the class’s natural curiosity about babies. A highlight of the visit was in impromptu game of peek-a-boo with Marnie which caused much merriment.
The class would like to thank Marnie and her Mum for a wonderful afternoon with an open invitation to return for a cuddle at any point (the baby, not Laura!)
