St Joseph’s Mini-Vinnies were thrilled to be invited to an afternoon of party games, prayer and cake in honour of the Birthday of St Vincent de Paul, the Saint whom they are named after. This wonderful event was hosted by Ursuline College in Westgate and attended by St John’s Secondary School Gravesend, St Gregory’s Secondary Tunbridge Wells and us. The local branch of the St Vincent de Paul Society were also there.

The children played People Bingo, Giant Jenga and a Parachute game and enjoyed all manner of cake and tasty treats. They also took part in a short liturgy and several prayers. One of the afternoon’s many highlights was the appearance of Vinny Bear who delighted the children with his marvellous dance moves and general antics!
